Under last weekend’s full moon at California Plaza was the incomparable Son Rompe Pera, a five piece cumbia-punk bank from Mexico City (with an occasional trumpet and harmonica added) with marimba. Four of the five instruments are percussion. You won’t be able to stay in your seat. Go with it.
